To tell a story is only human and for Koryn, storytelling is a part of life.

It would be untrue (and worse, cliched) to say that writing comes as naturally as breathing to Koryn. It’s common to find her loudly bemoaning her self-set writing goals, but it’s also fair to say that she finds a writing-less life even less tolerable. With a background in journalism and radio, Koryn has experience writing stories to illuminate the difficulties and beauty of life.

Koryn is 24 and is currently living in Chicago. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communications and worked as a freelance correspondent for WORLD News Group. She moved to Seoul, South Korea for a year of teaching ESL and returned to focus on her numerous writing projects. She has received awards for public speaking, broadcasting, and fiction and non-fiction writing.

When not writing, Koryn enjoys procrastinating on Instagram reels, reading a singular page of a book on her reading list, and visiting as many cafes as humanly possible.
